High-Waist Skirts

The fad of high-waist skirts has finally got me. I decided to buy a black one which has these button details I love.


However, I notice that high-waist skirts regularly appear in the type of a pencil skirt flaunting the woman curves of our body. The skirt I got was different, more of an A-line skirt which oddly does not have this soft thin material that should actually fall nicely. The material of mine was like stiff, so when I stand wearing this skirt, it gives this bizarre A-shape up from my waist to above my knees. Funny. But…whatever..hehehe.

Those Damn S***ers

Okay, back then I've posted about this t-shirt I saw in Malaysia that without permission used my design...bah!! For that one, I saw it with my own round eyes....hhmmm...very very upsetting...

Now, it happened again...thanks to Rachel, she informed me about this hoodie she found in KOREA, that, again, surprisingly used my desiiiiiigggggnnnn......arrgghhhhhhhhh......

You see, when people fake Louis Vuitton or Gucci bags, that doesn't really matter cuz after all, people will always know that those beautiful (fake) handbags are originally the creation of those big brands..and, the brand (actually) becomes more famous...

But, for my case, I DON'T GET ANY CREDITS FOR IT....you all stole my creation, and you as well erased the identity of the real artist behind the design....

Among the crudest responses one can make in civil discourse is to say, when confronted with dissent, "Oh, but I didn't mean it that way."

Crude, inelegant, and just not all that bright. And yet.

Oh, but I didn't mean it like that. I heard from two pals, one in an e-mail and one in a comment, shortly after making my last post, each expressing an appreciation for Advent in such a way that made me reread my post and think, "Egads! I've left out a few nouns or verbs or perhaps even an entire paragraph somewhere."

I don't know what went wrong only that something did, for I adore Advent in ways large and small and regret falling down so thoroughly on the job of defending the honor of a season I find so pleasing.

LBD

I've constantly wanted a little black dress that'll match with almost everything in my wardrobe collection, but too bad that LBD wish of mine has to wait patiently as I haven't found any that I like...however, I do have this black dress from Mango that has never been worn ever since the day I bought it.



It actually matches the LBD type I’ve always desired, but it has these details that loses it’s supposedly simple and classic feel of a plain black dress. But anyhow, this is how I would probably wear it…:)

Tell Me ABout It

...
How do you define life? Beautiful? Tough? Simple? Complicated? What is life? And does it matter to you? I’ve always felt special since I was a kid, not special in the sense that I’m better than anyone, but special because I am different. I became mature in mind too fast, and since I was little, I’ve always tried to figure out what life actually means. I’m still in the phase of constructing my definitions, searching and extracting what’s related and what’s not. This hunt is definitely not gonna end soon, as life itself is beyond description and has a long way to go.


There’s one thing I discovered; life is all about family. How you behave, how you think, how you perceive yourself and others around you, how you feel about things, and what you become in the future, is all decided on how you actually grew up. There’s no such thing as right and wrong. People kill perhaps because they needed a medium to express their rage towards the father who never cared about them. People go for plastic surgery possibly because they felt so ugly that the mother never gave affection and told them how pretty they were no matter what. And others might say, they were wrong because they weren’t strong. They probably are, but they are understandable. Life is not always about material goods, it’s all about the love and care within the family. The role of parents, brothers and sisters are one complete package that influences our lives. It creates the feeling of being complete and worthy, that when they step out from their very own house, they become good people, for their friends, their lovers, their school, their employers, their country, and the strangers they meet everyday. Each people will undeniably have their own interpretation of my question, cuz they see their lives in different perspectives. But it all comes back to one vital ground; the family. Family are the constant factors that, like it or not, becomes a repeating cycle that should continuously improve from one generation to another. Children should learn from their parents’ mistakes, so they can become better parents and grandparents in the future.

It’s surprising that not many realize this fact. To be continued…
